This story begins in the city of Buenos Aires, Argentina, in the year 1982. After finishing the military service and pondering on many things, I started looking for a job with a fresh mentality. My life hadn't changed that much after the service, but I wanted to get into the real world. I wanted something more stable, and that's how I started working at an editorial office called Ebila (Editorial Bahá'í Indolatinoamericana or Indo-Latin-American Bahá'í Publishing Trust). At the beginning nothing called my attention. But after living and working with these people which had something different in them, in the religious sense, and didn't mind me learning about their religion (the Bahá'í Faith), I became somewhat curious to know more about it.

At the same time, many different things were happening around me, which were connected in some way or another: consolidating my friendship with two old pals Willie and Tino, and learning to play the guitar. I had often wanted to learn guitar and enjoyed as a child watching my uncle playing and singing. It gradually became a reality, finally coming through at the age of 24. My guitar teachers were magazines with chord diagrams, my boldness to sing whatever came to my mind, and other guitar playing friends. I never dedicated myself to it at a professional level; I just wanted to sing and play what came out of me naturally.

At the time, my compositions had two topics: imaginary lovers and dreams of love and peace; I'm not very sure if I really believed in those dreams, but there happened to be a rebirth of the love and peace motto going around in the music scene due to the War of the Malvinas (Falkland Islands). My first lyrics came from these topics, and it's not that there wasn't any inspiration in the air, but the Argentine Government had banned music in English on the radio, so the massive promotion of local musicians singing protest songs in Spanish satisfied my raving.
